Santa Fe Imaging, LLC is a diagnostic center that provides the following services:

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): MRI provides superior contrast resolution of soft tissues without the use of ionizing radiation. It has applications in the brain, spine, abdomen and musculoskeletal systems.

Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA): MRA is an excellent alternative to an angiogram utilizing MR technology. Causes no discomfort and provides accurate result.

Positron Emission Tomography (PET/CT):  ia a medical imaging scan which creates functional pictures of the human body.  Unlike x-rays, ultrasound, CT or MRI scans, which create images of your body structure(anatomy), PET povides data in th form of images which reveal the functional processess of the body.  When combining CT and PET imaging in one scan, we offer a more thorough examination to evaluate disease and response to treatment.

Computerized Tomography (CT): Our spiral CT scanner is an 8-slice GE Light Speed, which produces excellent cross-sectional images in a short period. CT has many applications in the brain, chest, abdomen, pelvis sinus disorders and extremities.

Virtual Colonoscopy (CT colonography): Virtual CT colonoscopy is one of the newest most advanced non-invasive methods of colon cancer screening. Spiral CT (computed Tomographic) images of the abdomen and pelvis are acquired after introducing air into the colon via a small rectal tube. The entire exam lasts only a few minutes. Our expert radiologists using sophisticated computers with three-dimensional imaging capabilities interpret the images.

CT Lung Cancer Screening: CT-scanning has been investigated as a promising method of detecting lung cancer early. Using our sophisticated multislice state-of-the-art CT scanner, which acquires high-resolution images in seconds, the lungs can be evaluated for nodules that may not detected by conventional modalities.

CT Imaging of the Heart and Coronary Calcium Screening: CT scanning is being investigated as a method of detecting coronary artery disease early. Our state-of-the-art scanner acquires high-resolution images in seconds in imaging the heart and coronary arteries. In fact, each individual image is obtained so quickly that it appears motion-free. CT scanning can be used to assess a person's risk for coronary artery disease by a method called "coronary calcium screening." In this procedure, the CT scanner is used to detect, count and measure calcifications-deposits within the coronary arteries. These deposits of calcium are known to indicate atherosclerosis.

Ultrasound: Certified ultrasonographers are specially trained in our advanced ultrasound imaging equipment to follow the course of pregnancies, diagnose abnormalities in developing babies, detect gallstones and kidney stones along with other diagnostic uses.

Uterine Fibroid Embolization: Is a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of symptomatic uterine fibroids. An interventional radiologist, a physician who is specially trained to perform this and other minimally invasive procedures performs this procedure.

Digital Mammography: Our specially trained mammographers are fully certified and licensed. Our facility is ACR-accredited and FDA approved. Early detection of breast carcinoma through mammography has been shown to decrease mortality.

Routine Radiology: General X-rays are routinely done at our facility. Plain film can detect fractures, diagnose pneumonia, and evaluate bowel obstruction among other abnormalities.

Bone Densitometry (Photon Absorptiometry): Santa Fe Imaging has a lunar DEXA, the accepted state-of-the-art technique for determining bone density. Dictated reports include density values for the hip and the lumbar spine, give the patient’s risk of fracture, suggest further work-up, and suggest FDA indicated treatments depending on the degree of osteoporosis.

The staff that perform exams and the radiologists who interpret the images are committed to excellence and personalized care. They bring with them years of combined experience and expertise in radiologic imaging. The medical staff at Santa Fe Imaging is all Board Certified in Radiology. Dr. Jon D. Lehman directs the staff.
